A computer implemented method for modifying a digital image, comprising loading the digital image into an electronic memory accessible by the computer, identifying an individual region in the digital image that includes a human face, determining a padding amount based on a size of the individual region, digitally defining a padded region including padding borders of the individual region by the padding amount. The padding amount is based on a ratio of the size of the individual region to a size of the digital image. |
