A prosthetic heart valve (300) includes a stent (302) having a collapsed condition and an expanded condition. The stent includes a plurality of cells (312), each cell being formed by a plurality of struts (314). The heart valve further includes a valve assembly secured to the stent and including a cuff (306) and a plurality of leaflets (308), each leaflet being attached to the stent struts and/or the cuff.
