PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a mobile station device to efficiently generate a base sequence by use of a parameter specific to the mobile station device.

SOLUTION: In LTE, a mobile station device receives information related to a parameter used for generating a DMRS (demodulation reference signal) sequence for a PUSCH (physical uplink shared channel) on a physical downlink channel, and when it transmits a transport block on the PUSCH regardless of contention based random access, it determines the value of the parameter with the use of the information related to the parameter, and when it transmits a transport block on the PUSCH as part of contention based random access, it makes the value of the parameter 0 and generates the DMRS sequence with the use of the value of the parameter.
