The method involves collecting data of contextual information specific to targets of environment near secondary servers (11-14) i.e. social network providers, and indexing the data according to data files. Identification information (ID) is received from a terminal i.e. smartphone (TER) following a co-operation between the terminal and a contact less reading device to recover the information near the terminal. Social information (IS) corresponding to the identification information is obtained, and the contextual information is communicated from the social information to the terminal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for providing contextual information to a terminal connected to a communication network (2) a terminal comprising a software application for receiving identification information of a target (3) a server comprising an unit for implementing a method for providing contextual information to a terminal (4) a computer program comprising instructions for implementing a method for providing contextual information to a terminal. |
