[Also in Division F4] A mounting device including a fixing screw 1 for securing a lamp casing to a ceiling or to a suspension device thereon comprises a plate portion 2 having an elongated slot 6 and serving, when the lamp is in place, as a washer between the head of the screw 1 and the lamp casing and an apertured bracket portion 4 extending at an angle from the plate portion and terminating in a hook 5 from which the lamp casing can be suspended prior to the final mounting, the slot 6 being wider than the diameter of the shaft of the fixing screw 1 but narrower than the head and the aperture 7 in the portion 4 being in communication with the slot and slightly larger than the head of the screw. A shoulder 3 may be formed between the portions 2 and 4. |
