PURPOSE: A resonator for a compressor is provided to enable to maintain the initial resonant frequencies of a resonance unit, arrange a neck portion at various positions, and to optimally design the neck portion and the resonance unit. CONSTITUTION: A resonator for a compressor comprises a neck portion(10) and a resonance unit(20). The neck portion forms an inlet passage(2) of pressure generated by the compressor. The resonance unit relieves the pressure delivered through the neck portion and includes an oil discharging hole(24). The oil discharging hole is formed separately from the neck portion and discharges oil to the outside of the resonance unit by gravity. |
