PURPOSE: A service providing method and a server thereof are provided to offer service from a position held by a first terminal to a second terminal when a user having multiple terminals selects continuous downloading. CONSTITUTION: Whether continuous downloading is allowed at a first terminal is inquired(S602). A continuous downloading allowance signal is received from the first terminal(S604). A service holding signal is received from the first terminal(S606). The service providing to the first terminal is held(S608). A joining signal is received from a second terminal(S610). Whether continuous downloading is allowed at the second terminal is inquired(S612). The continuous downloading signal is received from the second terminal(S614). The service is provided to the second terminal(S616).
