PURPOSE: A sensor network driving method and a device thereof are provided to effectively form and operate a sensor network. CONSTITUTION: A sensor network generating unit(12) generates a logical sensor network comprising a physical USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) based on group item information. The sensor network generating unit generates USN driving information for physical USN resources based on metadata stored in a resource metadata storage unit. A sensor network control unit(13) individually drives the USN resources comprising the logical sensor network based on the USN driving information. The sensor network control unit receives driving results from the USN resources.
