PURPOSE: A bending unit and an inspection device are provided to improve the reliability of an inspection and reduce inspection time by inspecting with a flat display panel comprising a bended flexible substrate when inspecting through bending the flexible substrate extended from the lateral surface of the flat display panel for close attaching to the lower surface of the flat display panel. CONSTITUTION: A bending unit(100) is used for bending a flexible substrate(F) of a flat display panel(P), and comprises a horizontal driving source(110), a bending bracket(120), a vertical driving source(130), and a bending member(140). The horizontal driving source is arranged at the upper part of a subject having the flexible substrate. The vertical driving source is connected to the horizontal driving source for moving in a horizontal direction. The bending member is connected to the vertical driving source and moves along a vertical direction before bending the flexible substrate for the flexible substrate to be closely attached to the lower part of the subject. Inspection time is reduced and the reliability of inspection is increased by inspecting the flat display panel having a bended flexible substrate using an inspecting device.
