PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication treated high tensile strength steel sheet for a hot rolled steel sheet or a cold rolled steel sheet which has excellent chemical conversion treatability, adhesion and formability, and can widely be applied as an automobile steel member. SOLUTION: The lubrication treated steel strip is provided with a lubrication film with a coating weight of 10 to 1,000 mg/m2 consisting of a lubricant-containing lithium silicate film. The Li/Si atomic ratio in the lithium silicate is 0.4 to 0.7, and the mass ratio of the lubricant/the lithium silicate is 0.1 to 2.0. The lubricant comprises a lubricant A selected from organic high polymer compounds and a lubricant B selected from metallic soap so that the mass ratio of the lubricant B/the lubricant A lies in the range of 0.3 to 5.0. Also, the lubricant A comprises a lubricant Al having a melting point of≤100°C in an amount by which the mass ratio of the same to the total content of the lubricant A, (Al/A) reaches 0.20 to 1.
