PURPOSE: A molding apparatus manufacturing a piston for a vehicle in a one-ton class and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to inject a heated raw material on an upper mold, a lower-outer mold and a lower core mold and to separate the material for ejection from a half-finished piston skirt product from the upper mold, the lower-outer mold and the lower core mold as ejection devices after the finished process. CONSTITUTION: A molding apparatus manufacturing a piston for a vehicle in a one-ton class by hot rolling thin-walled forge including an upper mold(100), a middle mold(200), a bottom mold(300) and an operation mold(400). The upper mold pressurizes a raw material to be molded. The middle mold is equipped with a flat board on the inner circumferential surface and penetrates in an up-and-down longitudinal direction. The bottom mold is combined with the middle mold, and is formed on the center part with a protrusion portion(301) that is protruded upwards and formed with a rib groove(302) on the side facing the flat board. The operation mold comprises an operation guide(410) and at least one operation pin(420). The operation guide is combined with the hollow of the center part of the bottom mold and inserted into the gap between the upper and bottom mold to eject a molded product by pressing upwards. The operation guide is formed with a main guide hole(415) and an auxiliary guide hole(417) on the position corresponding to an ejection hole(305) and an auxiliary hole(307) of the protruded portion. The operation pin penetrates the main guide hole and the auxiliary hole to shuttle. The operation mold comprises a supporting pad(430) which supports the bottom surface of the operating pin and guides the shuttling of the operation pin. |
