PURPOSE: A pedestrian protecting device for a vehicle is provided to efficiently prevent and reduce injuries of a pedestrian in case the pedestrian collides with the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A pedestrian protecting device for a vehicle comprises an air bag cushion(3), an inflator(5), and a tube(7). The air bag cushion is mounted on a front pillar. The inflator is installed in a part of the vehicle separated from the air bag cushion. The tube connects the inflator and the air bag cushion.
