The stop has a body (2) extending according to a longitudinal axis (X). A transmission system (5) i.e. piston, moves relative to the body and exerts force on a hydraulic thrust (3). A return element (4) i.e. spring, exerts force to move the system. A bolt (8) immobilizes the system relative to the body. The thrust, the return element and the system are arranged such that the longitudinal axis presents a portion (26) along which a portion of the hydraulic thrust and a portion of the return element extend. The thrust is received in a housing part (22) in length of the system. An independent claim is also included for an assembly.
