PURPOSE: An electro-optical device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent an aperture decline by securing enough charging time for each pixel. CONSTITUTION: Pixels(130a, 130b) respectively comprise a pixel circuit(120a) and light emitting elements(121a, 121b). The light emitting elements emit light spontaneously by the amount of current. The pixel circuit comprises a pixel voltage maintenance and current control circuit. The pixel circuit is connected to the light emitting elements. The pixel circuit comprises plural pixel circuit units(120c, 120d). The pixel circuit units are manufactured by dividing the pixel circuit into two parts. The pixel circuit is included in the pixels. The pixel circuit is positioned at the pixels.
