A method for cryopreserving garlic meristems comprising cultivating the meristems on MS medium with a sucrose content of 0.3 M, incubating in cryopreserving medium, disposing into containers being hermetized, freezing in liquid nitrogen and thawing out. In addition, the freezing is carried out above the surface of the liquid phase of nitrogen at a height of 35- in the course of 10-15 min, and the thawing out is carried out in external air at ambient temperature. |
