<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hours of work in manufacturing a choke coil. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetron comprises a magnetron body, a filter box 31, a choke coil 35, and a penetration capacitor 34. A filament 15 of a cathode part of the magnetron body is connected to a cathode terminal 33 within the filter box 31. The choke coil 35 is provided within the filter box 31 and includes an air-core inductor 37 connected to the cathode terminal 33 and a core inductor 38 including a magnetic substance core 91 and connected to the air-core inductor 37 in series.
