The invention relates to antagonists of serotonin 5-HTreceptors, substituted 2-alkylamino-3-arylsul-fonyl-cycloalcano [e or d] pyrazolo [1,5-a]pyrimidines, medicinal principles and pharmaceutical compositions which contain the medicinal principles in the form of the above-mentioned compounds, to novel medicinal agents and to a method for treating and preventing the development of CNS diseases. The invention discloses 2-alkylamino-3-arylsul-fonyl-cycloalcano [e or d] pyrazolo [1,5-a]pyrimidines of general formula (1) and 2-alkylamino-3-arylsulfonyl-cy-cloalcano[e or d]pyrazolo [l,5-a]pyrimidines of general formula (2), wherein Ris a hydrogen atom or C-Calkyl; Ris C-Calkyl; Ris an hydrogen atom, one or two optionally the same halogen atoms, C-Calkyl and optionally alkyl-substituted hydroxyl; and is an integer 1, 2 or 3.
