CONDUCTIVE PARTICLE AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive particle which has stable and excellent conductivity, and allows the formation of a high-quality conductive layer for an electronic device member, and to provide the use of the particle.

SOLUTION: Provided are a conductive particle and its use. The conductive particle comprises a resin particle and a conductive layer. The conductive layer is formed by covering the surface of the resin particle with 5-30 pts.mass of carbon nanofiber to 100 pts.mass of the resin particle to mesh. It is preferable to form the conductive layer by use of carbon nanofiber whose oxygen content is controlled to be 8-20 wt.% by a surface treatment at 100°C using a mixed acid of nitric acid and sulfuric acid with a nitric acid concentration of 10-30 wt.%.
