<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel able to achieve improvement in the detection accuracy of a position measurement unit, which measures the movement distance of a movable lens, and a size reduction, and a photographing apparatus with the lens barrel. <P>SOLUTION: While a first sensor body that detects an absolute movement distance by which the movable lens is moved from a reference position, based on electrical resistance and a second sensor body that detects a movement distance obtained as a change in magnetic resistance are connected parallel to each other, they are arranged at the photographing side ends of the lens barrel. A first arm of the first sensor and a second arm of the second sensor are connected by an arm connection bridge so that the movement of both the arms are synchronized. The lens barrel has a position measurement sensor unit configured such that the subject side leading end parts of the first and second arms are connected to a lens frame which accommodates the movable lens, and the movement distance of the movable lens is measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
