<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based pigment ink composition which does not separate even at 70°C, exhibits good storage stability, does not give twists and blurs on a water-nonabsorbing substrate to printed matter, and can provide a printing with good scratch resistance and high-quality image. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based pigment ink composition contains a pigment, water, an organic solvent, a pigment dispersant, a resin and a silicone-based compound, wherein (a) the organic solvent contains at least one glycol monoalkyl ether of formula (I), and the content is 10 to 30 mass% of the total amount of the composition; (b) the silicone-based compound is a compound of formula (II), the HLB value is <6.0, and the amount thereof is 0.05 to 1.0 mass% of the total amount of the composition; (c) a composition where solid contents such as the pigment and the resin from the ink composition does not have a cloud point of ≤70°C; and (d) the pigment dispersant contains a polycarbonate group-containing polyurethane resin, and has an acid value of 10 to 30 mgKOH/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
