<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive voltage setting method for an inkjet head capable of performing drive control at an appropriate drive voltage even if a model to be mounted is changed. <P>SOLUTION: In the drive voltage setting method, an inspection ink drive voltage Vh0 for discharging an ink droplet 3 of an inspection ink having reference weight from the inkjet head 1 and a period Tc of Helmholtz resonance oscillation are measured (step ST13). The inkjet head 1 is mounted to a printer body 11, a printing ink drive voltage Vh1 is calculated using a correction expression preliminarily stored in the printer body 11, the inspection ink drive voltage Vh0 and the period Tc of Helmholtz resonance oscillation, and the calculated printing ink drive voltage Vh1 is set to the printer body 11 as a drive voltage Vh (step ST22). Since the drive voltage is set to the printer body 11, the resetting of drive voltage to the inkjet head 1 is dispensed with even if the model mounted with the inkjet head 1 is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
