<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the variation of the optical intensity of illumination light irradiated to an observed region. <P>SOLUTION: A glass rod 37 is disposed between a light source part 31 and a light guide 27. The condensed illumination light is incident on a rod incident face of the glass rod 37, and is led to a rod emission face while reflecting the illumination light thereinside, so that the optical intensity is uniformed, and the illumination light is emitted. The diameter D of the glass rod 37 satisfies "D≈Fw+2×A" and "D>d", wherein the diameter of a guide incident face 27a of the light guide 27 is d; the half-value full width of the optical intensity of the illumination light on the rod incident face is Fw; and the maximum shift amount of an incident position of the illumination light in a radial direction assumed to the rod incident face is A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
