摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which can favorably achieve the improvement of exhaust emission by activating a catalyst at an early stage when including a plurality of catalysts and which can cool exhaust without causing substantial deterioration in cooling performance of refrigerant when employing a cooling means allowing the prevention or suppression of functional deterioration of a catalyst due to overheating. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An exhaust structure 100A consists of a first and second exhaust valves 58A, 59A provided to each cylinder of an engine 50A, an exhaust side VVT 56 capable of suspending respective operations of the first and second exhaust valves 58A, 59A in a closed valve state, and a first and second catalysts 31, 32 which are provided corresponding to the first and second exhaust valves 58A, 59A, respectively, which can be taken as objects to and not to suspend operation by the exhaust side VVT 56 at the same timing.
