Method and device for producing laminar plastic components

The method involves introducing the insert material into a mold cavity (16). The transparent plastic material is provided inside the mold cavity so that a metal sheet-like single dimensional stable semi-finished product is obtained, after curing and opening the mold cavity. The fiber orientation regions of the insert material layers are intersected at a specific angle. The single dimensional stable semi-finished product is transformed into two-dimensional semi-finished product which is transformed into three-dimensional finished product with increased temperature. An independent claim is included for a device for manufacturing planar plastic component.
