<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce formation of NOx by supplying condensation water formed by cooling EGR gas by an EGR cooler to a charge air passage. <P>SOLUTION: This EGR device for the internal combustion engine connects a section between an exhaust gas passage 5 and the charge air passage 3 of an engine by an EGR piping 15 including the EGR cooler 51 and an EGR valve 19. The EGR piping 15 is constructed to introduce condensation water formed in the EGR piping 15 to the charge air passage 3 by being inclined and disposed in such a manner that height of an exhaust gas introduction part 52 of the EGR cooler 51 is highest and height of a connection part 53 to the charge air passage 3 is lowest. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
