PURPOSE: A transmission method and device of a reference signal are provided to solve an interference problem generated because reference signal sequences based on each cell ID are the same, if a cell ID of RRHs comprising a corporation group with a macro cell in CoMP environment coincides with a cell ID of the macro cell. CONSTITUTION: A transmission method of a reference signal includes: a step of transmitting a terminal specific value being a parameter for generating a terminal-specific reference signal sequence(S600); a step of setting up a scrambling code identifier based on the transmitted terminal-specific value or a cell-specific value; a step of calculating an initialized value of PN(Pseudo-Noise) sequence using the scrambling code identifier(S610); a step of generating a first reference signal sequence with the initialized value of the PN sequence(S615); a step of mapping the first reference signal sequence to a resource element(S620); and a step of transmitting the reference signal to the terminal using the mapped resource element by the first reference signal sequence(S625).
