<p>The method involves absorbing heat generated by a generator (5) by flowing rich solution to a solution heat exchanger (14) at high pressure level. The weak solution is flowed to an absorber (3) at low pressure level, and refrigerant e.g. ammonia is dissolved in weak solution to recover rich solution. The recovered rich solution is recompressed at high pressure level and conveyed to the generator. The leaked refrigerant dissolved in weak solution, is liquefied and evaporated based on absorption of ambient heat while bypassing flow of rich solution to heat exchanger. An independent claim is included for absorption refrigerator.</p> |
