PURPOSE: A reel-based strap tightening system is provided to selectively control the size of an opening corresponding to an object and to incrementally pull the strap from the system. CONSTITUTION: A reel-based strap tightening system includes a housing(102); a spool(104) winding a strap when rotating in a first direction and unwinding the strap when rotating in a second direction; and a strap retaining unit retaining the strap(106) in the inner-radial direction. The spool includes a channel accommodating the wound strap, and the strap retaining unit includes the narrowed area of the channel. |
