APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CALCULATING IMPEDANCE OF BATTERY

PURPOSE: An impedance calculation method and a device of a batter are provided to calculate impedance of a batter, to control intensity of square wave current required for impedance calculation of a batter without an additional configuration and to accurately calculate impedance of a battery in an environment with noise. CONSTITUTION: An impedance calculation device(100) of a battery connected to both ends of a battery includes a current driving type device which shortens a battery when static current is applied; a switch selectively which applies the static current being on-off according to a target frequency to the current driving type device; and an impedance calculation unit(120) which calculates impedance of a battery using square wave current generated by selective shortening of a battery through on-off of the current driving type device and voltage of a battery varying with square wave current.
