PURPOSE: A detergent adding apparatus for a washing machine is provided to supply a proper amount of detergent by preventing powder detergent from remaining in the inner wall of a receiving unit by enabling water to be evenly sprayed into a detergent box. CONSTITUTION: A detergent adding apparatus for a washing machine is composed of a liquid detergent box(70), a receiving pipe, and a supply pipe(74). Liquid detergent is accepted in the liquid detergent box. Powder detergent is accepted in the receiving pipe. A detergent hole unit is formed in the receiving pipe. The detergent hole unit is communicated with the liquid detergent box. The supply pipe is formed in the receiving pipe. The powder detergent is added to the supply pipe. The supply pipe switches the direction of the water sprayed into the receiving pipe. |
