PURPOSE: A CPNS(Converged Personal Network Service) providing system and a method thereof are provided to directly connect two or more PNs(Personal Networks) with each other without a relay device by adding a function of a CPNS device for relaying connection between the PNs. CONSTITUTION: A first PN gateway device(100) includes a PN gateway module and a CPNS device module. The first PN gateway device receives a PN connection request message from a PNE(Personal Network Entity) through near field communication. The first PN gateway device forms the PNE and a PN.
