<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of brake feeling which is caused by the deterioration of a reaction force (for example, pedal reaction force) against a brake operation member as a result of the sucking of a brake fluid from M/C which causes the brake operation member (for example, brake pedal) to be sucked to the M/C side, the otherwise sucking of the brake fluid deteriorates M/C pressure. <P>SOLUTION: When a pedal-in amount of a brake pedal 11 reaches an invalid stroke, a differential pressure amount between first and second differential pressure control valves 16 and 36 is not held, also after that, the differential pressure amount between the first and second differential pressure control valves 16 and 36 is set larger according to the pedal-in of the brake pedal 11, and W/C pressure is raised by pump pressurization. BY this, M/C pressure can be lowered by the rising amount by the pump pressurization, and the sucking amount of the brake pedal 11 into the M/C 13 side can be reduced.
