PURPOSE: A light emitting device, a light emitting device package, and a light unit are provided to form a current blocking layer between a light emitting structure and an ohmic contact layer and to improve luminous efficiency by preventing a current concentration phenomenon in a part of an active layer. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure(10) includes a first conductive semiconductor layer(11), an active layer(12), and a second conductive semiconductor layer(13). A reflection electrode(17) is electrically connected to the second conductive semiconductor layer. A current blocking layer(18) is formed in between the light emitting structure and an ohmic contact layer(15). An electrode(80) is electrically connected to the first conductive semiconductor layer. A conductive layer(40) is electrically connected to the electrode. A contact part(30) electrically connects the conductive layer to the electrode.
