<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict a traveling pattern of a vehicle in consideration of a road state, presence of a traffic light at an intersection, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device selects one of a plurality of links composing a road network as a selected link (step S20), and for any target intersection existing ahead of the selected link, executes traffic light traveling pattern prediction processing when the selected link has smooth flow of traffic (step S60), temporary stopping and traveling pattern prediction processing when the selected link has smooth flow of traffic (step S80), passing through traveling pattern prediction processing when the selected link has smooth flow of traffic (step S90), traffic signal traveling pattern prediction processing when the selected link has traffic congestion (step S120), or temporary stopping and traveling pattern prediction processing when the selected link has traffic congestion (step S140).
