<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new hydroxystilbene derivative having anticancer activity stronger than pterostilbene, p-coumaric acid, luteolin and ε-viniferin, especially, strong anticancer activity to oral cavity cancer, to provide a method for efficiently and safely producing the new hydroxystilbene derivative, and to provide anticancer agents, further, foods, medicines and quasi drugs, containing the new hydroxystilbene derivative. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a new hydroxystilbene derivative produced by heat-treating pterostilbene and p-coumaric acid in the presence of a metal salt, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and anticancer agents, further, foods, medicines and quasi drugs, containing the new hydroxystilbene derivative and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
