PURPOSE: A holder for an identification card with a separable connection ring is provided to offer an identification card badge holder having a good appearance and make separate lanyards with a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A holder for an identification card comprises a separable holder for holding an identification card; and a separable connection ring(20). The separable identification card holder comprises a connection ring fitting hole, a connection ring fastening hole, a connection ring fastening part, a connection ring fitting hole shaping part, an identification card holder body part, and an identification card placing hole part. The identification card placing hole is formed at the bottom portion of the identification card holder which is shaped to have a predetermined thickness, and the connection ring fitting hole shaping part is formed at the center of the top portion of the identification card holder.
