<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power inverter circuit control device which achieves high efficiency operation to expand an operation variable range and also can help to simplify a configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An output voltage Vout is chopped by PWM control to turn an output current Iout into a sinusoidal waveform. At this time, furthermore, a circulation operation is adopted to eliminate a period in which the output voltage Vout has a different polarity than that of the output current Iout. As a result, generation of reactive power on the power supply side is avoided, whereby a power factor is improved.
