<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic damper that not only allows a change in the amount of hydraulic fluid in a hydraulic damper to be easily recognized from the outside but also prevents the hydraulic damper from becoming large, heavy and expensive, prevents components of the hydraulic damper from interfering with other members around the hydraulic damper, and further, improves the measurement accuracy of an oil-level monitoring means during non-operation of the hydraulic damper. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic damper includes: a piston 60 stored in a cylinder 52 and having piston rods 62, 64 protruding to the outside of the cylinder 52; oil chambers 66, 68 formed on both sides of the piston 60 in the cylinder 52; an accumulator 74 provided in the piston rod 64 and having an accumulator piston 80 and an accumulator oil chamber 76; a throttling orifice 77a communicating with the oil chambers 66, 68 and reducing pressure of the hydraulic fluid in the accumulator oil chamber 76; and an oil-level monitoring means 90 communicating with the accumulator oil chamber 76 and monitoring a change in oil level of the whole hydraulic damper 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
