PURPOSE: A paper money transfer unit of a cash dispenser and a transferring method thereof are provided to collect the remaining paper money from a rotary cam by using an elastic member for pulling the rotating rotary cam. CONSTITUTION: A paper money transfer unit of a cash dispenser includes a box(25), a rotary cam(20), a paper money transfer bar(22), a door cam(30), a link part(40), and an elastic part(50,51). A lower part is formed by the box(25). The rotary cam(20) is rotatably installed around a first hinge(21) at a top side of the box. The paper money transfer bar(22) is installed at one end of the rotary cam. The paper money transfer bar is close to a disc cam(23) in order to transfer the paper money to the front direction. The door cam(30) is installed in front of the rotary cam. The door cam is rotated around a second hinge(31) in order to open or shut the rotary cam. The link part(40) is rotated around a third hinge(41) by a driving motor. The rotary cam and the door cam are rotated by the link part. The elastic part(50,51) is connected to the link part, the rotary cam, and box in order to pull the link part and the rotary cam.
