<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a catalyst layer for fuel cell using conductive diamond-like carbon or glassy carbon as a carrier that it is difficult to attain high activity. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst is obtained via a step of reducing the diameter of a carrier composed of conductive diamond-like carbon or glassy carbon by wet pulverization, and a step of carrying the catalyst metal particles on the carrier subjected to wet pulverization. The catalyst layer resistance of a catalyst thus obtained is smaller than the catalyst resistance of a carrier (i.e., the catalyst itself) such as the conductive diamond-like carbon previously carrying the catalyst metal particles and subjected to wet pulverization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
