<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode capable of keeping the state of stably wetting an electrode surface for fixed time and reducing contact resistance between a human body and the electrode surface, and to provide an electric therapy apparatus including the electrode. <P>SOLUTION: For a pair of electrodes for the electric therapy apparatus, hydrous gel of a water content equal to or higher than 80 wt.% for wetting the skin of a human body by being in contact is exchangeably attached to the side of the electrodes to be in contact with the human body.
