<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll pressure bonding device for sealing in a packaging machine, the device being capable of adjusting a pressure for pressure-bonding a packaging material and detecting a packaging defect of a center seal of the packaging material. <P>SOLUTION: Two pressure-bonding rollers 31 and 32 are arranged opposite to each other across a sealed part of a packaging material. A servo motor 33 drives a pressure-bonding roller 31 for opening and closing via a link 57 serving as a motion converting mechanism. The other pressure-bonding roller 32 is supported to be freely rotatable on a fixed frame 50 serving as a second roller support. According to the conveyance of the packaging material, the pressure-bonding rollers 31 and 32 are opened/closed by the servo motor 33 driven by a control portion. Based on a change in an amount of rotation of the servo motor 33 or a change in torque, an increase in a gap between the pressure-bonding rollers 31 and 32 is detected during close operations of the pressure-bonding rollers 31 and 32. Thereby, a foreign matter caught between the pressure-bonding rollers 31 and 32 or an abnormal state is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
