<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuelization of organic sludge, capable of avoiding reduction in cement production efficiency or the like while reducing energy loss in cement manufacturing, and further extending the use as fuel of organic sludge. <P>SOLUTION: The method for utilizing organic sludge as fuel includes: composting organic sludge W and raising the calorific value by adding a calorific value adjusting material A to the composted organic sludge. In the composting of the organic sludge W, a horizontal mill for cement raw material may be used as a fermentation treatment device 12 to ferment the sludge at high temperature by hyperthermophilic bacteria. Odorous gas G generated during fermentation may be deodorized with oxidation catalyst. As the calorific value adjusting material A, combustible waste/and solid fuel may be used, and compost C may be granulated by pressure molding. The fuel is pressure-molded into a desired shape such as pellet, whereby the handling in transportation or the like is facilitated and the use of the fuel can be extended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
