<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce defects in a product. <P>SOLUTION: A copper alloy ingot 11 contains 2.1-3.6 wt.% Fe, 0.05-0.2 wt.% Zn, 0.01-0.12 wt.% P, 0.01-0.12 wt.% Sn, 0.005-0.05 wt.% Si, 0.005-0.06 wt.% Mn, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities. In the cross section of the copper alloy ingot continuously cast, which is perpendicular to the casting direction, the average value of major diameters of primary crystal iron particles existing in the crystal grains and the crystal grain boundaries is ≤5 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
