<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for measuring a non-local temperature distribution at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature measurement device of the present invention comprises an electrode film and a magnetic body layer, and by a spin Seebeck effect due to a temperature gradient distributed from the magnetic body layer to a measurement object, thermal electromotive force is induced to the electrode film. By observing a code and magnitude of the thermal electromotive force signal, the temperature distribution in the magnetic body layer and the measurement object is estimated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
