<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for notifying a driver of a proper point to brake a vehicle when a traffic signal turns yellow at a crossing and a point to cross with care in all directions, and a method for acquiring the color of the traffic signal after an accident. <P>SOLUTION: A yellow line is drawn on a road surface to indicate the final brake point at which the driver should normally apply the brake, with setting the (stopping distance)=(brake reaction distance)+(braking distance) from a crossing, when the driver is driving at the speed limit of the road toward the crossing with a signal 1 and the signal 1 turns yellow. A speed trap is installed at the crossing. The signal 1 and the speed trap are made to cooperate with each other to take, by one or two high performance cameras, an image of the car or the like passing the stop position determined in the crossing at a speed, e.g, 10 km/h, not allowing the car to stop at around the stop position, when the signal turns red.
