<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that can be temporarily placed while a pipe joint stands in an unsupported manner in such a posture as to rise from a cleaning surface like a floor, and is therefore user-friendly. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint 5 includes: a base pipe 5A to be connected to a hand operation pipe 4 and a tip end pipe 5B to be connected to a suction tool 6. The pipe joint 5 further includes: a hinge means 10 that rockably connects the rear end of the tip end pipe 5B to the tip end of the base pipe 5A; and a fixing means 20 that fixes rocking caused by the hinge means 10. The pipe joint 5 is configured to stand in an unsupported manner by bending the base pipe 5A and the tip end pipe 5B by means of the hinge means 10 and by fixing the base pipe by means of the fixing means 20 in a posture in which the base pipe 5A stands from the cleaning surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
