PURPOSE: A closing force supplementing device for a fire door closer is provided to facilitate the closing of a fire door regardless of the increase in gas pressure and air temperature in an indoor place in case of fire, by increasing the closing force of a door closer by two steps shortly before the closure of the fire door. CONSTITUTION: A closing force supplementing device for a fire door closer(2) comprises a case(11), a frame(12), a cam(13), a gear(14), a rack gear assembly(15), a first elastic member(16), a closing force increasing rotary link(17), and a second elastic member(18). The frame is rotatably installed inside the case by combining with the driving shaft of a door closer. The cam has a closing force supplementing guide groove(13a) and is installed in the frame. The gear is arranged at both sides of the cam and rotates along the frame. The rack gear assembly has a rack gear unit(15a) for interlocking with the gear in the center, and straightly moves inside the case. The first elastic member elastically supports the rack gear assembly. The closing force increasing rotary link is in close contact with the link support(15e) of the rack gear assembly or a link support groove(15f) at one end, and is rotatably installed inside the case. The second elastic member elastically supports the closing force increasing rotary link. |
