<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply sufficient power to a motor during a high torque operation and effectively use regenerative energy derived from the motor during a slowdown operation without modifying the control content of drive control means for controlling the drive of the motor. <P>SOLUTION: A step-up/down circuit 29 executes a step-up operation of stepping up an input voltage and outputting it, a step-down operation of stepping down the input voltage and outputting it, a power cutoff operation of cutting off the supply of the input voltage, and the like.
