<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight unit including a left-side and a right-side head lamps inclined backward from the center side toward the lateral sides of a vehicle to form proper low beams. <P>SOLUTION: The left-side head lamp 20 and the right-side head lamp 30 provided in a headlight unit 1 for vehicle include bulbs 22, 32 and reflection surfaces 231, 331 which reflect light emitted from the bulbs 22, 32 frontward. Each reflection surface 231, 331 has a plurality of reflecting regions formed for reflecting light to respective regions corresponding to the left-side head lamp 20 and the right-side head lamp 30. The plurality of reflecting regions include central reflecting regions 231a, 331a close to the bulbs 22, 32, left-side reflecting regions 231b, 331b on the left side, right-side reflecting regions 231c, 331c on the right side, and inside reflecting regions 231d, 331d which are located at centermost side of the vehicle extending to the left-side reflecting region 331b or the right-side reflecting region 231c. The left-side reflecting regions 231b, 331b and the right-side reflecting regions 231c, 331c are equal to each other in their widths or their surface areas along their lateral directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
